The control signals are the same as any other stepper motor, so nice and easy there. please follow this photo.
as for the Fault signal - this is connected like an end stop into the input section of the Root controller.

Electrically speaking, there is no difference in performance or control between common cathode or common annode. The only differences is the inversion of the logic state between them, which is done in the software configuration.
