Newbie questions!

Hi I’m completely new here , but Ihave been looking at CNC for a couple of years. My hope is to build one which will be wider than deep. I hope to have it fit on my table saw workstation. Measured imperial it is 63 inches wide by 48 inches deep. it does not have to bee full width but I do want to limit the depth and operate “sideways” to the conventional which I see in most builds. My questions are as follow,

  1. How much should I expect to beef up the gantry for say 1.45 meters width?
  2. What size printer build plate is needed for the parts? I currently have 220X220X120.

Sorry I simply took a bit more time and found my answers in plain sight. I’m becoming more excited about the build by the hour.
