I am looking at 3d printed CNC’s. I want to build something 2’X3’ or so and see how much I use it before I jump into a full 4’X8’ build to do plywood sized sheets. Does anyone have a cost estimate for a root 3 that size? I have looked at other CNC’s and this looks better than the MPCNC to me but I have no idea really.
I’m considering a similarly sized Root 3. By most accounts an MPCNC with 2’x3’ working area would be a stretch - especially with thin wall conduit. I’d be interested in the forum’s feedback on how a Root 3 would handle the dimensions.
I found the Root 4 Lite size calculator and I believe the Root 4 Lite and Root 3 are both designed with 1" steel box in mind. 650x930 working area falls in the ‘white’ area of the sheet so is that to indicate that a Root 4 Lite should not have any issues with those dimensions? And since the Root 4 lite and Root 3 have similar structural components would that hold for the Root 3 as well?
