I would like to start building a root 3 however I’m worried about the side panels. Can they be 3d printed? I looked through the STL files on github and didn’t see them. Do I need to look again?

Not generally recommended, but if you did might allow you to bootstrap to the point of machining stronger panels. Another option might be to print a thin template to help locate holes. Strongly recommend buying or getting them made up from DXF file though. I was very fortunate to have a another Aussie offer to make up panels for my Root 4 Lite build.

Some people have 3D printed the side panel - I think they’re remixed on thingiverse! but I’m not too sure how successful it was!
