Has anyone connected a pendant to their root controller, if so which one and where to purchase or get the components

Currently the Root Controller ISO 3 does not support a pendant connected directly to it.
I was about to ask the same question. I use an RPi to run UGS using a Logitech K400 keyboard but I find the noisey workshop environment is less than ideal for this wireless keyboard. Hence I was wondering if there were was another option… Maybe it’s the RPi that is too sensitive.
Any thoughts?
if you’re keen to do a little hardware modification then you can connect the Dial to some internal Headers and Pins within the Root Controller.

Please take note of any isolation zones and coupling noise onto the internal 0V.
but this seems to be a good work around for getting a a dial connected to the Root controller.
That’s great, just what a few of us have been looking for.
I will ask the inevitable questions.
Where can I get hold of one of those pendants ?
Do we need the write anything into the YAML file ?

Have to say it’s nice very responsive
